FAQ

What customers ask first.

Do we really not pay setup fees?

Really. No setup fees, no integration fees, no per-seat charges during the trial. Subscription begins after your 4-week free trial - at A$350 per store per month on Retail+ Pro, or by contract on Enterprise.

What if our POS isn't on your partner network?

We can usually onboard a new POS in 2–6 weeks. Apply via our developer portal and we'll evaluate the integration with your POS provider. Activation timelines extend to accommodate this.

Can we pilot before rolling out everywhere?

Strongly recommended. Phase 2 includes a 14-day pilot in one store group with matched controls. We run the difference-in-differences with you and only widen scope once the pilot results are in.

How long until HANK is useful?

Day one. HANK is bounded to the analyst-retrieval space - top sellers, declining categories, supplier scorecards, rolling totals - and works against your live data the moment it flows. He becomes sharper week-on-week as your historical baseline deepens.

What about data governance?

Everything is logged. Sharing rules are configurable per-supplier, per-category, with aggregation and anonymity controls. Audit trails are exportable. Your IT/data review usually takes a couple of hours total.

Who owns the data?

You do, always. tapestry processes your shelf data on your behalf and acts as a controller only for the optional supplier marketplace, where retailers explicitly opt in to share - and earn revenue from doing so.
